WE seem to always have trouble with our winter cover using the cable, with plastic wrap and other clips, but so far these clips are holding, and we are very pleased. We used 24 clips on an above ground pool. I am adding an addition; It has been 6 months since our purchase, and these clips are holding like the day we installed them. The clips nor the cover have slipped over the winter. Outstanding!

Concept is good but design is lacking. Every day with even a slight wind pulled the winter cover up and snapped the clip off the pool edge. I went to filling milk jugs half way with water and attached by using tarp straps. This is working much better and was A LOT cheaper. I tried to tuck tarp into clips in different ways and it never worked. Unfortunately, I did not watch return date closely enough and missed out on returning to get my money back for this wasted idea. Save yourself the time and money and do not buy these.
