A shovel plow- works!
By Laura Nevel on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2025
We purchased this for the Great Grandma who doesn’t want to be called great grandma. So we call her GG. It really hasn’t snowed since we gave it to her between Christmas and New Year’s for her birthday.Anyway, she hasn’t had it yet, but I did. We got a little over 2” and I stopped and found the shovel plow easiest to use between it, an old grain shovel and a garden shovel. You can make large passes or smaller ones, depending on your pushing capacity. It was a good purchase after the initial sticker shock.I was also a little disappointed with my middle son (they’re all adults), who left me to assembled it by myself. That is all.

Human Powered Snow Plow
By Roborob on Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2024
This is basically a human powered snow plow. The blade is mounted at an angle like a truck-mounted plow to a set of wheels with a handle. The blade and handles are made of heavy gauge powder coated steel, but the nuts and bolts are plain steel and unprotected. The wheels are made of plastic. At the $150 price point, I would expect rubber tires with steel rims and some sort of weatherproofing for the fasteners. It only took about 20 minutes to assemble, but I did have two socket wrenches, which helped a lot. The included instructions aren't great, but the video on the product page made it a lot easier to understand. This arrived too late to use for cleaning snow this season, so I haven't been able to test it for its real purpose, but I was able to move some soil with it, so I suspect it will do an adequate job on snow.
