The tyre inflator is excellent! It's portable and completely accurate. I have been using this inflator for several weeks now, mainly on my road bike. It can be switched between American and French valves and is not only easy to use, but also inflates accurately and efficiently. Once you've chosen the type of tyre you want to inflate, you simply set the required pressure, fit the valve and turn it on. It does not make excessive noise and you can see the current tyre pressure and the pressure at the time of inflation. Once the set pressure is reached, the inflator switches off! I needed to inflate my car tyres so I used it and set it to 36 pounds of pressure and sure enough, after filling up to that point, the inflator stopped. It was a relief to be able to use the device without having to look around for a petrol station or pay to inflate my tyres! Another plus is that, despite weeks of use, the battery level indicator (on the screen and very visible) has hardly moved at all, even though I've used it many times to inflate my road bike tyres before going out for a ride. All in all, a good choice for a reliable, accurate and easy to use tyre inflator. Finally, the customer service has been outstanding! They are responsive and very co-operative. Great company to work for. You will definitely not regret it. By the way, I was not paid to write this review.

Definitely not worth it

So, I compared this to a few other options around cyber Monday and this was the better deal and had more promises than the other similar products I was looking at. I'm going to skip doing a good vs bad aspects and get right to the two core problems I've experienced with this. 1) It's inaccurate. Compared to my tpms and digital tire pressure gauge, this reads +/-5 psi. It also is inaccurate compared to itself. One tire was a little low because the temperature dropped to around 40f. I set the proper inflation PSI and let it do it's thing. I watched for a while and the measured pressure didn't increase, then suddenly it turned off and the number changed to 3psi over target. When i double checked with my pressure gauge, it read 3 psi higher than what the pump reported. Out of curiosity I tried it on two other tires and got a mix of over and under shooting the inflation target. And over and under reporting the actual psi. 2) It's really not there for you in a pinch. Lithium polymer batteries significantly loose effectiveness closer to freezing temperatures. I left it alone in my car for a couple days, the temperature has been in the low 40's but hasn't reached freezing. One night i was outside doing some work in the dark and remembered that it had a flashlight feature. In deep darkness, it was hard to figure which button was the light. But it really didn't matter anyway, because the battery was dead. I had full charged it before initial use. It went down 1 of 4 battery level indications when i tried it out, and that was the end of what it could do. If i need it in a roadside emergency, i can't trust it to be there for me. I will be sending it back for a refund. I did not test it on smaller items such as ball inflation, but those are even more critical of +/-1psi, i personally wouldn't trust it for that, and at the price point, not worth holding onto for just that.
