Solar Bug Zapper Lantern with 360º Brush

We haven't had any mosquitos in our home this year, but I feel much better prepared with this. I used a similar product years ago, and the UV light works well to attract and kill all manner of flying insects. I like the size of this device, it's over 14 inches tall. My spouse and son are sensitive to mosquito bites, so it's a big deal when we get one in the home. The exterior's plastic construction feels rather flimsy, I would not expect to get many years of use out of this item. I'm also disappointed that it only has a power cord just over 4' long when the manual asks me to install it 5' above the ground. I'll need an extension cord to do that. Also, I can't use this device in any situation where it might get wet, including damp, indoor spaces. Overall, I'm satisfied with this product, but I would not purchase it again if I needed a replacement. Amazon offers many products that can also handle outdoor use and for significantly less than the list price of this item.
