ASAHOM permanent outdoor lights

Being honest and upfront I was offered money to write this review, however I would have written this review anyway. I wanted a permeant outdoor light set that had all the functionality of other major brands and this is it. I included video and an image of what they look like on my house and here are the details I found out by installing them. 1. They are easy to install, but they take time. They included alcohol pads at roughly a 1 pad to three light ratio, so 20 pads per 60 light set. If you clean the spot where you are going to stick the light well than the sticky backing is all you’ll need. Mine have been up for almost a month and not one has come loose. ASAHOM was nice enough to include fasteners with screws if you prefer or you could use both. Plan and measure before you install them. ASAHOM gives you plenty of slack to be able to hide the power supply and controller. From the plug to the first light seems to be about 30 FT. and from the controller to the first light is roughly 10-12 feet. These lengths do not count as a apart of the 100 ft length you are paying for. 2. The light string is adjustable. The 100ft length is broken into 6, 16.5ft strings. The controller can control anywhere from 1 to 9 strings with this set allowing you to make a display anywhere from 17 feet to 150 feet. The set also comes with two extensions that are 10 feet each. These can be placed anywhere in the light string if needed. All the connectors have rubber O rings that seal when connected maintaining watertight integrity. 3. The lights are bright, 65 Lumens each and 10 lights per string. The app has dimming control color control and pattern control. You can create your own patterns, and colors then save them with a name you give. This is on top of the plethora of patterns they have pre-programmed. 4. The music sensitivity when using the microphone on the controller works fantastic. However, the blue-tooth music connection, not so much. Maybe there is something I am doing wrong, but I couldn’t get the lights to respond to music very well when connected to Bluetooth, only slight variations regardless of the music I was playing. Overall I am very happy with what I got and the price when compared to premium brands with similar functions. I bought two sets and used one with 7 strings in the front shown in the video and one with 5 strings in my office, not shown. I have also recommended them to family that were looking at the premium brand. The only thing I would change is make the stands 10 feet for better arrangement and compatibility with homes and have 7 lights per strand for 10-foot strands. The average 2 car garage is 20 to 24 feet wide, and this makes it hard to make a 16.5- or 33-feet work. I would also recommend adding 1 or 2 more extensions per set. As is you won’t be disappointed.
