Best Bang for the Buck
By One Handed Reader on Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2025
I received my 28-inch Fiskar lopper today, and I am DELIGHTED with it. It is the ideal length for most homeowners. Long enough to give good leverage making it easy to use, but short enough to get into tight places. Blade is sharp enough and strong enough to do the job with a minimal amount of effort. Did more in an hour with it than my old Harbor Freight one did in several hours before bending the handle on a tough limb. Fiskars is better built, and very reasonably priced. It is one of the best Values I have found in quite a while. If you need aa good lopper, look no further, this one is a steal for under $20.00

Plastic parts seem short-lived & they attached Stiff Info/Warranty Card to lopper! Annoying.
By MonetLover on Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2025
I had my doubts when I saw it arrive and realized how small 15 inches really is! However, the blades looked sharp and the weight was nice, not too heavy. The device has a lot of plastic parts, which was worrisome, as I figured they probably won't last long. The blades especially worried me, because although one blade is metal, the other one seems to be plastic!? Well, the first time I used it (today), the plastic blade developed a crack! :( UGH. It does cut 1.25 inch branches, wet or dry, which impressed me, but will probably break next time I use it. Also, Fiskars for some unimaginable reason "hard-wired" their stiff warranty card onto the lopper with a screw! Now I need to find a Phillips screw driver before I can get rid of that card. What a nutsy thing to do! (Do companies ever consider the HASSLES they cause their users with such self-serving silly stunts like this, making it troublesome just to get rid of their warranty card? Why not use string or a plastic tie to attach the card to the device, instead of screwing it on like this? Annoying--"screwy" in fact (LOL)!) I probably won't buy another Fiskars item after this. I have a bigger "no-name" lopper coming tomorrow and I hope I will be happier with it. Will let you know! ;-P
