I use these kinds of gloves for so many things. They are so much more hygienic and convenient than having to constantly scrub your hands after touching things like raw chicken or household chemicals. You get a nice big box of 1,000 gloves!!!! The gloves are 100% polyethylene, latex free and powder free. As for the fit, I normally buy size large for myself and XL for my husband. Both of us can use these without any major fit issues. I have slender hands so they are a bit big on me while my husband has much larger, bulkier hands. They still fit him well. He commented on the fit because with regular mainstream brands, he often tears them trying to put them on, LOL. These don't have a tapered wrist. They are quite loose so if you are washing fruit or vegetables under the faucet, you will have to use caution as water can easily seep inside. They are ideal for cutting raw chicken, rolling meatballs, breading chicken, cleaning up pet messes, cleaning the bathroom, painting, etc. You can just put on the gloves, take care of your messy tasks, and then discard. When dealing with raw chicken, I still wash my hands afterwards BUT it prevents that oiliness/gooiness from getting on your hands. I HATE that feeling and I always feel like I have to scrub forever to get it off! I was pleased with the thickness of the gloves. They are still on the thinner side so you will have plenty of flexibility while wearing them. However, they aren't thin enough that they are constantly tearing. My husband hasn't ripped a pair of them yet! LOL
