Nice though limited

This is a nice torch however it seems to be limited in its use due to its size. It would be good for clearing ice from the driveway, starting backyard or campfire, or for burning small weeds in sidewalk cracks. It creates a concentrated flame rather than a large flame for burning a large surface. It is simple to use and comfortable in the hand. Depending on the size propane tank you use with it, it is easy to carry around and use for a variety of tasks. I do recommend this product and think there is value for the cost.

I have the big round end type of torch. I wanted to try this for more control. It is definitely easier to hold and control, but it didn't work. It was holding it directly on the weeds, full gas and it would take a 30 seconds to kill 1 weed. I tried lighting a stump and it wouldn't do anything. I got out my other fence torch and it was vaporizing the weeds in seconds, and had the stump on fire after about 3 seconds. This was a waste of effort.
