Lounging is an attempt to break the bonds of gravity. Until we can all go to space, we've gotta use chairs.

Some scientists think that when we finally become a space-based society, we'll begin to change. Our spines will stretch, our heads will grow, our fingers will get longer, and we'll dangle freely as though held by tiny strings as we float through the inky black of the cosmos listening to '70s progressive rock. Other scientists hear this and kinda roll their eyes.

But all scientists can agree: the only way to be as comfy on Earth as the future-people will be in space is to buy a very nice Double Orbital Lounger and use it. Could be for staring at the pool, could be for watching TV, could be for hanging out in your penthouse looking down on the day laborers you employ while laughing at how rich you feel. Hey, we're realists! We're not gonna get off this stinkin' gravity prison until a few rich people get bored enough to build their space planes.

After all, the rich will need butlers in space, too. They won't wanna get out of their lounge chairs at get that space lemonade themselves, will they?.
