Origins

The origin of the Good Ideas Compost Wizard Jr.? Gather around, kids. Grandpappy used to read that comic when he was a little boy.

As I recall, it was a dark night in Compost City. On the street, a poor young man with a broken leg was twittering. "#awful!" he typed into his phone. "#garbagestrike now in the #thirdday! Where can I #put my #bananapeels?"

And that's when he saw the abandoned subway station full of compost.

The young man hobbled over. 7 cubic feet of compost, he saw, all well aerated and on a wheeled base. And then he heard the voice, "WHO DARES ENTER MY ABODE?"

The young man turned to see... The Compost Wizard himself!

"Please, sir! #forgiveme!"

The Compost Wizard sneered. "So you would know my secrets, would you? How to have a low-profile design that will be sturdy in high winds? How to turn organic waste into something suitable for the garden? Know this, boy! Your wish shall be granted! Speak my name!"

"Um," said the boy, "Compost Wiz-"

But before the boy could finish, the magic pile of half-eaten sandwiches fell from the sky, and he became... COMPOST WIZARD JUNIOR!

And then nobody used him for like two decades because of legal issues. But, whatever, he still had the power to turn organic garbage into compost.
