You don't know me but I am an aspiring screenwriter and a huge fan. Please find enclosed a script entitled "A Step Too Far." I 100% guarantee you will love it.
It begins with a young workbench named Jack Astrotool, who is trying to reconnect with his estranged daughter, when suddenly his good-for-nothing gambler brother is kidnapped by the Brazilian mafia.
That's when everything goes OFF. THE. HOOK.
You see, it turns out that Jack isn't just some humble workbench. He also used to be a pneumatic scaffold for the CIA!
He fights his way through a fifty story high rise where every floor has a different theme—a floor of ninjas, a floor of cyborgs, a floor of zombies, etc.—which are a metaphor for the changes he's going through as a character.
Anyways, he gets to the penthouse and finds out that the mob boss is his own daughter!
PK'SHHHH! (Imagine me making the "my head exploding" gesture here.)
So that's when his daughter offers him a choice: kill his brother and join her, or die with him, and she reveals that she's sitting on a giant bomb!!!
But instead what he does is say "Say hi to your mother for me!" (her mom does before the start of the movie) and round-house kicks the bomb—with her on it— out a plate glass window. The bomb explodes, illuminating the city with a huge fireball.
As the reunited brothers limp out of the building, they look up at the fireball in the sky (I don't know how they got down to the street so fast, but I don't think people notice these things), Jack's brother says, "Jack, I think this is the dawing of a new day," and they laugh.
Then the credit come up, reading "Jack Astrotool will be back in Tool of Oppression!"
