Gliders? Swingers? All are welcome here!

Have you met the new neighbors?

"The ones who moved into the Petersons' old place?"

Yeah. Ron and I finally met them yesterday.

"Ohhh, what were they like?"

She's an accountant, and he's a manager somewhere, but get this: They're swingers.

"Swingers!?"

Yeah, swingers.

"We have swingers in our neighborhood?"

Now we do. We were talking for a bit, and then they started saying, 'You've gotta come swing with us'.

"What did you say?"

At first we were reluctant. I mean, they're new to the neighborhood. We hardly know them. We didn't want to impose. But they were so nice and insistent. Anyway, Ron and I went home but then got to thinking, maybe we will swing with them, so, well, we did.

"You did!?"

It's a big step, I know, but somebody's got to welcome them to their new home. Anyway, we went to their house, and they have this beautiful Jack Post Country Garden Collection Patio Glider in their backyard, and it had room for both of us, so Ron and I sat down on it and did some swinging while they sat on the porch and cooked pork chops.

"Ohhhh, THAT kind of swinging."

What'd you think I meant?

"Like 'swingers'."

OH. Haha. No no no, not that kind. I guess I should have clarified that it's a glider, not a swingset, but I can see how you got confused there. Sorry! It makes more sense now, right?
