Today, let us remember Trimmer McCulloch, the toughest, sexiest gardener in all of Scotland. Without him, wild ar-boars would still be a menace.
As part of our weekend-long Sexy Arbor Day celebrations, we'd like to take a moment to talk about the namesake of this McCulloch String and Hedge Trimmer Kit, the kilt-wearing "Trimmer" McCulloch, the strongest, mightiest, most loving tree-man to ever walk the Scottish moors.
The year was 966, and the hills were still wild and full of the leafy green boars we now know as "hedges." But, in those days, they were called "ar-boars" and they chased the poor Scottish people who wanted to do nothing but live peacefully and eat fried Mars bars. Each day, the ar-boars would swarm outside the village, and their leaves would rustle, and they would say WHO AMONG YOU WOULD BE A HERO?? And no man would dare answer.
But one day, "Trimmer" McCulloch stepped forth. In one hand, he held a spinning string. In the other, a sort of sword that was designed to specifically fight those rampaging "hedge" beasts that threatened his home and family. The ar-boars took one look at McCulloch and fled, leaving behind a tangle of vines and stems. Scotland was saved! And "Trimmer" McCulloch was on the cover of the "Most Sexy Scottish Men" scroll for the next five years.
In modern times, due to a language issue, we celebrate "Sexy Arbor Day" instead. But make no mistake, it's all because of the hedge trimmer set and the man who invented it. We salute you, "Trimmer" McCulloch. We salute you.
