In some ways, it was the ultimate career move. I'd worked in the toy industry for years, I loved winter sports, and I minored in Elvish in college. But I'll admit, I was a little bummed that the permanent snowpack would rob me of one of my favorite ways to relax: pushing my mower around my front yard.
