Chainsaws are from a magical land full of princesses and ponies and happy stories! And also chains.

Once, on a magical summer's evening, a little Poulan Pro Gas Chainsaw came to life.

"My name is Theobold!" said the little chainsaw, "and I want to be friends with all the world!"

But Theobold was alone in a storage space. So there was no answer. And the poor little chainsaw felt very alone.

Outside the trees rustled. Theobold revved up his motor and easily adjusted his chain. The trees whispered, "We would play with you, Theobold! But we're too old! And too set in our ways! And there not enough of us! And we aren't small enough!"

Theobold stretched the comfortable grips on his starter handle and rear handle. "So, trees, what you're saying is... if you were a small, easily-carried stack of logs, you'd be able to hang out and have fun?"

"Yes!" whispered the trees. "But how could that ever happen now?"

Theobold laughed happily. "Just you wait until morning, friends! Just you wait until morning!"
